Coronavirus (COVID-19) Credit Union Update

We take our Member’s and Staff’s well-being very seriously and we understand the uncertainty and concern surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) that is why we encourage you to do the following:

Take advantage of Home Banking and Mobile Banking (TouchBanking) to easily check balances, make transfers and view history, without having to leave your home or come to our office.  If you are not currently enrolled, we suggest you enroll now.

Sign up for direct deposit of your payroll to a debit card accessible account so that you can easily access your funds when our office is closed.

Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap or use sanitizer before and after any money transactions, including currency exchange or payments, card usage and ATM transactions.

Apply for a loan simply by completing our application, available at www.nccdefcu.com and emailing it to staff@nccdefcu.com.

Beware of scams due to the pandemic threat.  If anyone contacts you claiming to be from any agency or financial institution and asks for your personal information, please be diligent and do not share any account, social security, password or other personal identification details.  Please contact us immediately.

We also want to make you aware that we have implemented certain precautionary measures to protect you when visiting our office such as sanitizing surfaces and providing hand sanitizer at teller workstations.

We will continue to closely monitor and evaluate the impact of this virus on a daily basis.  If you are affected by this virus, and experience financial difficulties we encourage you to contact us immediately so that we can assist you.

Please visit www.cdc.gov for more information regarding the COVID-19 virus.
